BLAB BLOG 3/15/05 - Boat Show At Gillette Stadium

Yarmouth, Maine:

Just back from the Massachusett's Boat and Water Show at Gillette Stadium in Foxborough, Massachusetts. Friday and Saturday there was a good sized snow storm here in the Northeast that kept most folks at home - Sunday was a good day with plenty of people out looking for boats. Met quite a few people who I had only spoken with on the phone or through email and web forums - always nice to put a name to the face and I'm always surprised at how wrong I am about how such people look!

Today saw us back out on the water breaking in a V23 with a hardtop and a Suzuki 250. Boat has a jackplate and it is our first experience with one of these - interesting...different...useful.

Lots of boats going out or in final prep...a V26WA-x for fire department in New York, a V23 for a competitive cat fisherman in Maryland, a V23 for a guide in New Jersey, a V20 for a doctor in New York, a V23 for a fisherman in Connecticut, a V26 for a firefighter with 5 boys on Cape Cod, a V20 for a duckhunter in Newburyport, MA and more...busy, busy, busy.
