Yesterday trailered my personal V23HT to Salisbury, MA for an early AM demo ride. Left at 4:00AM and arrived with the snow starting to fall (ICE) - had a very nice demo ride although it was very, very cold with snow....Brrrr.
Gentleman is now buying a V23HT for next year.
On the way home the roads were very slippery so with a boat in tow I was being very, very careful. As I headed down the onramp for I-95 North a van was backing straight up the ramp!!! Yikes! I luckily had the room to make a safe go round but who in the world thinks of backing up an onramp in a snowstorm?????
Further up I-95 I came across a man standing on the side of the highway next to his heavily smoking car. I pulled over and asked the gent to get away from his car as it was in the process of catching on fire! (Ice and fire...fire and ice). Next an off-duty fireman stoppped and got into his gear - I went to my boat and grabbed the fire extinguisher and gave it to the fireman - he shot with it for, maybe, 20 seconds before it ran out of chemicals. It really had only a minor effect. I plan on having a larger extinguisher on my boats in the future - that one was pretty useless!!
Other news: Doing a V26HT fireboat for Panama City, FL, a charterboat for New Jersey, a charterboat for Cape Cod, A V23HT for Cape Cod, A V23HT for Connecticutt, A V23HT for Indiana/Gulf Coast as well as some others....getting very busy for this early in the year - again, if you are thinking of a boat for 2006 please order early.
